sophia m. anefalos

I’m a 2D artist passionate about visual storytelling and creating imaginary worlds. My main area of focus is pre-production, with an emphasis on character design, concept art, storyboarding, and independent comics. I have a degree in Animation Design and I’m always exploring new ways to tell stories through images.

Since 2020, I’ve been working as an independent comic artist on my project Strange Effect and Venus. I’m also a tattoo artist, developing original artwork on skin for over 4 years. Additionally, I run my own small business, where I create and sell illustrated and handcrafted products at events and online. I’ve also provided private drawing lessons, and I truly value the exchange of experiences that comes with the creative process.

I love exploring different styles and experimenting with techniques. My work is guided by emotion, meaning-making, and curiosity. For me, art is both communication and discovery.✧
